I checked the tax maps and in 1802, there was still a log house on the farm now in the Agnew family. So all I know is that the house was built after 1802. My guess would be built in the 1830-40’s because there was a virtual building boom in the Township during those years.
In the 1940's this farm was known as Hobson #2, #1 being to the east across the road (HR #18). Hobson had a dairy on this farm and shipped milk to the local dairy cooperative.
This house was grossly altered in the late 1950’s by Bob Thompson.
