Notes

In 1908, George Reardon and his daughter, Grace, bought 68 acres in Toughkenamon from William Johnson's estate. Identified on the 1883 map as that of Sarah T. Marshall, daughter of William Johnson. William's wife was Sarah A. Scarlett Johnson. Johnson was a mowing machine manufacturer with shops in Newark DE. 1875 book says he retired to Toughkenamon and turned to farming. Johnson died in 1878. Buried at London Grove.
