HR #6 is at the lower center nearer to Bancroft Rd. The double road to the lower right is the entrance to a subdivison. The old curved driveway leading in from Bancroft Rd to HR #449 and HR #450 is visible slightly above the center of the photo.

Notes:

There is some interest in this area because the land was once owned by members of the Milhouse family of which Richard Milhous Nixon was a descendant. From the published genealogies, however, it does not appear that the people that lived here are direct ancestors of the President. Thomas Milhous was born in Ireland and died in Pikeland in 1770. His son William Milhous and grandson William Milhous Jr (both direct ancestors of the President) were born in Chester County but had moved on to Ohio before 1826, and their descendants kept moving further and further west finally ending up in California.

Enoch Milhous who owned this house in 1883, was the son of Jesse Milhous 1805-1865. Jesse was also a descendant of Thomas Milhous from County Antrim, Ireland.
