By then the villages within its boundaries were established and defined and newspapers reported on activities within the communities and of the surrounding countryside. When various articles are read side-by-side you feel as if you are living in a long bygone era. It should be remembered, however, that most of the information covers the influential members of the communities in a most romantic way. As a matter of fact, it often seems that newspapers are trying to curry favor, probably because they were the subscribers and advertisers. </p> <p class=MsoNormal> </p> </div> </body>
